Report an issue

Corrections policy

If you find an error in a public VAT Engine page, documentation example, or data presentation, send the page URL, a concise description, the relevant effective date, and a primary-source link where possible.

What this helps you do

VAT Engine will review the report, correct verified public issues, and record material public-facing changes in the changelog when appropriate.

  • Use contact@vat-engine.app for public corrections and responsible disclosure coordination.
  • Do not send API keys, customer data, order data, or other secrets by email.
  • Source changes are reviewed before a published rate or threshold representation is changed.
  • The policy does not provide individual tax advice or a filing determination.

How to use it well

Make the issue reproducible

Include the page URL, the specific statement or value, and the date or country context that makes it questionable.

Link primary evidence

Where possible, include an official authority source so the issue can be assessed against the relevant context.

Keep sensitive data out

Use redacted examples only; never send API keys, customer records, order payloads, or credentials in a correction report.
